Dr. Husain started aesthetic medicine in 2010 and joined The Spa at Bryan LifePointe in 2015. When she is not at the Spa at Bryan LifePointe, Dr. Husain provides care as a board certified family medicine doctor with Lincoln Family Medicine, part of Bryan Physician Network. Dr. Husain believes that small changes can make big differences in refreshing your appearance – and improving your sense of well-being! She looks forward to working with you to achieve your desired results.
Carrie earned her physician assistant degree in 2001 from Union College after working as a registered dietitian for eight years. Following graduation, she worked in both family practice and aesthetics offices. Her experience in aesthetics led her to The Spa at Bryan LifePointe. Carrie enjoys working individually with patients to help them look and feel their best.
Allison graduated from the Myotherapy Institute in Lincoln as a licensed massage therapist. Before achieving her certification, Allison worked as a nursing assistant and discovered her love of truly connecting with patients. She is deeply passionate about helping people reduce their mental stress and physical pain. Allison stands by her philosophy: Self-care is self-respect. Receiving massage, or any time you spend on actively decreasing your stress or pain, is time well spent. Allison incorporates Swedish and deep tissue techniques to customize each massage to her clients’ wellness goals and preferences. Using her training and experience, Allison looks to promote health and wellness and make her client’s days just a little bit brighter.
Cindy graduated from Universal College of Healing Arts in 2008 as a licensed massage therapist. Prior to that she was a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years. During her time as a nurse she began to realize the value of integrated care and treating the whole person. Since becoming a licensed massage therapist, Cindy has studied many massage treatments and is committed to helping clients find a treatment program that addresses the needs of the entire body. Cindy also is a biodynamic cranial sacral therapist and myokinesthetic practitioner, and has experience with massage cupping to address a number of other health concerns. Cindy has a passion for helping people reach a higher level of overall health and wellness.
Erica graduated from the Myotherapy Institute in May 2017. She believes you can incorporate many things into your life for overall health and wellness, and massage is one of them. Erica’s specialties include Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and prenatal massage. Erica loves helping those who want to reduce stress, maintain good health or is seeking relief from a medical condition. She focuses on working with clients to develop a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. Erica is plans to continually expand her knowledge and promote massage therapy for preventative or curative therapy.
Rebecca graduated from the Myotherapy Institute in 2004. In her practice she uses a broad range of techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, Thai massage, shiatsu (reflexology), neuromuscular massage therapy and myofacial release. She also is trained in pre- and post-natal massage. She believes we all contain the natural ability to heal, and uses an intuitive approach to allow the body to unwind. She strives to make each session meaningful for her clients by guiding the body toward balance and the healing benefits a massage can bring.
Cathy first began practicing massage therapy in 1997 after attending the Central Coast School of Massage Therapy in California. Cathy then opened her own massage therapy business, managing five massage therapists and a growing practice until moving to Nebraska. Cathy joined Bryan Lifepointe as a water fitness instructor and now is working as a massage therapist. Cathy is experienced in deep tissue, Swedish massage, reflexology, prenatal, hot stone, sports massage and couples massage.
Susanah graduated from the Myotherapy Institute in Lincoln, Neb., and has been practicing massage for nine years. She provides customizable massage combinations of Swedish and deep tissue. She has six yeas of experience in the chiropractic field and three years of experience in the spa setting. Susanah also has experience in hot stone, Ortho Bionomy and post-event sports massage.
Daniel Welker attended the Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare and is an experienced licensed massage therapist. Daniel excels in deep tissue as well as relaxing massages. Daniel enjoys helping people relieve pain and is thrilled to add a new massage service called Thai Yoga Massage on The Floor to the Spa at Bryan LifePointe. This technique uses no oils or lotions and the client remains clothed while lying on a mat. The client is placed in a variety of yoga-like positions while receiving a combination of muscle manipulation and stretching.
Caitlin graduated from College of Hair Design in 2015 and has been with BryanLifePointe since. She performs facials, back treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, hydra facials, full-body waxing, day and night makeup, manicures and pedicures, eyelash and eyebrow tinting and spray tanning. She also is certified in eyelash extensions. She is excited to share her passion for beauty care, facial, massage, and skin treatments with you.
