Find relief from arthritis pain, stiffness and swelling
Do you have stiffness, pain, swelling or reduced range of motion in your joints from arthritis? Many people avoid physical activity because of these symptoms, which can lead to muscle loss and weight gain. We offer punch cards so that anyone may participate, but a LifePointe membership does allow you to take any of the classes on the group class schedule such as low impact/no impact classes like chair yoga, stretch, tone & balance, BodyFlow™ and beginning cycling.

Aerobic Activities at Bryan LifePointe for Arthritis
To help relieve your symptoms and protect joints from further damage, make exercise part of your daily routine so that it becomes a lifetime habit. Regardless of the exercise program you select, it’s important to begin slowly and choose a program you enjoy so that you stick with it. Aerobic activity examples include:
- Low-impact aerobic dance
Walking is one of the easiest aerobic exercise programs to begin because it requires no special skills or equipment other than a good pair of supportive walking shoes! Plus, it’s less stressful on joints than running or jogging.
Another good activity ideal for those with arthritis is our Warm Water Arthritis Therapy class. We offer a punch card for the warm water arthritis classes; you do not have to be a member to participate. And when classes are not in session, members may use our warm pool (92 degrees) and our lap pool (82 degrees) for exercising and swimming.
Whole Body Cryotherapy
Whole Body Cryotherapy can help you manage arthritis pain and flare-ups. This treatment uses very cold temperatures for a brief time period to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Call 402-481-6300 to schedule an appointment today.
